To begin teaching in Thailand, please follow the steps listed below:

Step 1: Thoroughly read our website and fill out the online application form.

Step 2: Send our team copies of the required documents.

Documents needed to submit:

• A copy of your passport (if you don’t have one, please apply for one)
• A criminal background checks. (in the case that you do not have a police clearance readily available, please note there will be an opportunity to obtain this later in the process)
• Copies of your high school / university / vocational certificates
• 1 passport sized photograph

Step 3: If your application is approved and all documents have been received, our team will contact you to arrange a casual interview.

Step 4: After completing your interview, our team will contact you for you to put down a deposit for your placement. To complete registration, please pay the deposit fee.

Step 5: After the interview and application approval, a team member will send you an offer and acceptance letter. We will provide you with further information regarding placements, visas, and training schedules.

Step 6: At this point in the process, Teach Thailand SOS Co.,Ltd, is pairing teachers with schools. The placement coordinator will send you a list of available placements in accordance with your profile and qualifications. Our team will try our best to match you with placements by sending your application to each school for review. All placement notifications and updates will be emailed to you. We ask for your patience during this time, as each applicant is given a great deal of attention and consideration to make sure that your needs are met as well as those of the school. Any special requests, needs or desires will be handled on a case-by-case basis depending on the location, school availability, etc.

Step 7: After being accepted by a school, your placement will be confirmed. Then, your visa process will begin. In the case that you change your mind about your placement and wish to relocate, please communicate this to our team for discussion.

Step 8: *Please read carefully* You will need to either obtain a Non-B visa from your home country or tourist visa upon arrival. Individuals who decide to enter Thailand on a tourist visa will then have to apply for a Non-B visa at one our neighboring countries- this process would begin after arriving in Thailand. Our team will assist you with proper documentation for both options. Also, we will make final preparations, answer any questions, and conduct briefings so that you are comfortable during the process.
